First off, yes, this show still holds up after twenty-something years. It's amazing, and definitely deserves its highly esteemed place in pop culture.
The humor is top-notch. It's the perfect kind of slapstick, silly comedy that always has me chortling.
Sokka was actually a lot more useful than I originally thought. Aang and Katara were constantly being foolish, and it would be Sokka who got us back on track. Or at least he tried to. They rarely listened to him. XD
Momo is the hidden mvp. He was wildly useful. Don't know why I never noticed him before. He's probably my favorite character now lol!
"The Great Divide" is still one of my favorite episodes in the whole show. I was dying laughing just as much as I was when I first watched it years ago.
Loved all the parallel shots between Aang and Zuko. It's especially noticeable in "The Storm". Also, their fighting synergy in "The Blue Spirit" was honestly peak.
